The title of Newport Hill Climb Queen is one of honor and prestige.

The Newport Queen Pageant Contest is held each year to select a new Queen from ether Park, Fountain or Vermillion Counties to represent the Newport Lions Club.

The Queen will preside over the Hill Climb Festival Week end and represent the club at other various events and activities of the Newport Lions Club throughout the following Hill Climb year.

A queen Contestant shall be a young woman be between 16 years of age and 22 years of age on the day of the pageant and never been married.
